Show transcript
00:06
Are we good? Yes.
00:08
Yes, we're good.
00:09
Yes. Welcome back to Lincoln Bio.
00:11
I'm Alejandro and I'm Jenny and Happy Monday sister.
00:13
How was your weekend?
00:15
Oh, brother, it was wild.
00:17
You were in Vegas?
00:18
Did you do any gambling?
00:19
I sure did. How much did you?
00:22
You went up? I'm assuming.
00:26
All right. What did you do on to the beach?
00:31
That's nice. Why do you say it like that?
00:33
I want money. I want to gamble.
00:35
I've had that itch.
00:37
But anyways, fun family time.
00:40
Well, we got a great show for you guys today.
00:43
We're going to be using the golden ratio to fix up some
00:47
familiar faces. We're going to be talking about an overweight flight
00:53
and there's a price it pays.
00:56
They're fat shaming planes now and divorce season is in full swing
01:02
And Camila Ramon joins us to,
01:04
you know, inspire our glue and get that blood pumping in
01:07
the gym. And actually Jenny and Anna had to do some
01:09
archery. I don't mess with us.
01:13
Oh, for real,
01:14
dude. It's crazy.
01:15
So it's a good show.
01:16
Don't go anywhere and let's get into it.
01:21
Sister. Who do you think has the best face right now
01:24
the most beautiful,
01:26
beautiful face, think celebrity.
01:30
I would say as far as beauty goes,
01:33
I think honestly I feel like Gigi Hadid has such a perfect
01:37
just symmetrical face.
01:39
Well sister pretty face,
01:41
you know what? You're actually wrong,
01:43
sorry. According to the golden ratio,
01:46
Anya Taylor Joy has the best face in the gang.
01:50
Really? Why I say like I'm sorry in the game,
01:53
why I say it again?
01:54
Anyways. Yeah. Well,
01:55
it's very close to what I said,
01:58
right? I don't like it but you know whatever,
02:01
what's this golden ratio you're talking about?
02:04
So the golden ratio is used by some to determine physical attractiveness
02:09
It was like a mathematical equation devised by the Greeks.
02:12
An attempt to measure beauty.
02:14
That's kind of messed up because like it's like everyone,
02:17
it's the difference of everyone makes everyone be uniquely beautiful,
02:21
you know, like that's like hell not fair.
02:23
So Anya Taylor Joy scored 94.66% and right behind her Zendaya,
02:30
Zendaya don't know how you pronounce it.
02:32
94.37 and last but not least we have Bella Hadid and 94.3
02:37
Bella Hadid. See I got a Hadid.
02:39
Yeah, exactly. Not Gigi but Bella is beautiful too.
02:42
We're all beautiful in our own way like this we are,
02:44
that's all like why this ratio thing?
02:46
It is an experiment.
02:48
So like look, Liam made a six and selfies yesterday,
02:51
right? Yeah, like I literally was fresh out the gym
02:54
Like honestly, it might,
02:57
it might be the worst picture I've ever taken in my life
03:00
All right. Well,
03:00
luckily Liam sent these selfies that we took right fresh out the
03:04
gym to some editors so they can morph our faces into this
03:08
golden ratio and make us look beautiful.
03:10
Like, look. That was me.
03:13
I mean, like see,
03:14
like my eyes kind of weird.
03:15
All right. Well,
03:16
let's see how you know this edit came out.
03:18
Can we see this?
03:19
All right. So it's like that's the frame of like how
03:21
it should be, right?
03:22
Ok. What's up?
03:29
What is that? That looks as good as a cartoon character
03:33
It kind of looks like Jafar from Aladdin.
03:36
Oh hell, like I said,
03:39
like I said the worst picture I've ever taken in my life
03:42
please don't judge why are my eyes all?
03:44
Like I don't know.
03:46
All right, well fresh out the gym,
03:47
let's see how your golden ratio filter looks.
03:51
All right. So there's a 00 what the hell,
03:54
what is that? I couldn't look like that one from Lord
03:57
of the Rings. Like go I was gonna say it kind
04:02
of gives me like Timon vibes,
04:04
you know from Lion King.
04:06
I don't know what the Greeks were on but this ain't it
04:10
I don't even know what to say.
04:11
Honestly I look like I'm on some heavy stuff.
04:14
Oh, we got more people in here.
04:17
Oh, ok. Cool up.
04:19
In here. Is that like a legit headshot?
04:22
It looks like really?
04:25
Oh, she doesn't look like too different.
04:27
It didn't change that much.
04:28
Wait, wait, she was already kind of like,
04:30
this ain't fair. Why?
04:32
Because y'all told me to take a picture of myself in that
04:35
moment. You guys did not say I could go back in
04:38
the archives and, and take my best looking picture and,
04:41
and give it to you guys.
04:42
Ok. What's next?
04:44
Oh I leave it.
04:47
Ok. oh,
04:49
ok, bro. You look like some of that snitches like
04:58
the guy from a recess like Randall.
05:01
He's like who you parked in my parking spot?
05:05
That's for talent. It's like,
05:07
well, I guess this is what beauty looks like,
05:09
brother. I mean,
05:11
I don't know, it was a little scary to me so
05:12
I think I might just stick with this fucking caches right here
05:19
This is your captain speaking.
05:22
We are asking all bags to delay the aircraft.
05:28
Yes, all big bags please get off the plane.
05:31
It is too. I'm talking to you through take back 12
05:37
and three, the triple,
05:38
double. Hi guys,
05:42
we'll give you a fucking gift card to Sizzler or something.
05:44
How's that sound? You're gonna get I $2500 flight credit.
05:55
Does that work sister?
06:01
Imagine boarding your flight getting nice and comfy in your seat and
06:05
all of a sudden you hear the 510 announce they 14 volunteers
06:10
to disembark the plane?
06:11
What? 14? That's such a random ass number.
06:15
Brother. I don't know,
06:17
but apparently a passenger captured the whole moment when the announcement was
06:21
made on a flight out of Las Vegas.
06:25
The video claim that the announcement was made because for their safety
06:28
the plane was too heavy.
06:29
How does that even happen?
06:30
Hey man, you know big bags out in the wild.
06:33
It's funny because you hear the announcement,
06:34
right? And nobody moves like,
06:36
hey, we need people to get off the plane.
06:38
I don't know. But then they spice up the deal and
06:42
they say they're going to offer $2500 of flight credit to the
06:46
volunteers. I leggo Chinga they get up.
06:50
I would have got up so fast.
06:51
I would be like damn like I'm gonna get my big back
06:53
out of here. That's $2500.
06:57
That's a whole another trip out of the country and imagine the
07:02
whole fam with you again.
07:04
Let's say four of you or something.
07:06
That's like 10,000 bucks and I see other people.
07:08
I'd be like move bitch,
07:10
I want that money.
07:12
Yeah, it's from no movement to everyone for the the gates
07:18
But I just wondered how is a plane too heavy?
07:22
I don't know how they weigh,
07:24
they started too much luggage.
07:26
I think it's the big bags with their luggage.
07:28
I mean, imagine the guy trying to move the plane,
07:30
the pilot, it was like we're not moving well,
07:38
I'm just mad like it never happens on any of the flights
07:41
I'm on, you know,
07:43
they never do any kind of offers.
07:44
No, not unless you sign up for their freaking credit card
07:48
and they always keep announcing that shit on the plane but like
07:52
universe please. Well,
07:54
they've announced it for me but it's like a couple 100 but
07:58
it's flight credit but I'm like,
07:59
no I'm on cash but also like when is the next flight
08:01
out? It's like,
08:03
hey, you leave in two days.
08:04
It's like I'm staying in freaking lax for $2500.
08:08
Exactly. Could be the hotel though.
08:11
I don't know, dude.
08:12
Like what would you guys do?
08:13
Would you guys volunteer?
08:14
Would you guys take the money or you know trying to get
08:18
back home? Asap J Lo and Ben are making moves to
08:24
file for divorce. This comes and made J Lo and Ben
08:26
spend the entire summer apart and putting their home on the market
08:30
for $68 million. And you know what is Ben?
08:33
He moves quick though because he purchased a bachelor pad on J
08:37
Lo's birthday. He just literally was like,
08:39
hey, happy birthday.
08:40
I'm giving you the date to yourself that day.
08:44
Oh my God, that's petty.
08:48
He went to Duncan by himself Duncan.
08:51
Damn. Also brother Cardi B announced she is pregnant with her
08:56
third child just hours after she filed for divorce from her estranged
09:01
husband. Yep Meagles Rapper.
09:04
Oh sorry. But that's wild.
09:07
But did you see her pregnancy pics though?
09:10
No, I mean,
09:10
I haven't seen them.
09:11
Well, she was serving,
09:12
she's glowing. She is glowing like her aura looks so strong
09:16
aside from all the bullshit,
09:17
you know, she's going through.
09:18
But I hope she has a healthy pregnancy and I hope she
09:22
heals and it's hard.
09:25
It's tough. Especially,
09:26
I can only imagine,
09:27
I mean, going through a breakup enough but going through it
09:29
pregnant. Imagine all the emotions.
09:32
That's good though. I mean,
09:33
it's not good, but it's the fact that she's like,
09:36
you know what? I know I'm pregnant with your child,
09:39
but I'm done with you.
09:41
I don't need you.
09:45
I know there's been rumors where you know,
09:47
all offsets caught in this video and it's all messed up for
09:51
her to leave him while she's pregnant.
09:53
He probably really like for a woman to actually leave.
09:57
It's hard. It's hard like I get it.
09:59
So hopefully she's doing OK and can't wait to see her baby
10:04
baby, little baby Cardi.
10:10
Yeah. Our girls from Mexico just won bronze for archery dude
10:19
I know Gulo Para Mexico.
10:21
I'm so proud of them.
10:22
Like respect. Definitely made us proud and honestly Loki,
10:26
I feel empowered. I feel like us Mexicanas are straight shooter
10:30
So it makes sense.
10:31
Hell yeah, we are Mexican,
10:33
not Mexican. That's right.
10:36
But yeah, I'm excited.
10:38
We're here at area archery to see if we can even make
10:42
it in the 2028 Olympics.
10:43
Yeah, because honestly I don't want to miss out.
10:45
Me neither. It's so fun.
10:46
Seriously. Let's put our skills to the test.
10:49
I, I'm just a little nervous.
10:50
Don't I think, I think we both gonna be.
10:53
Hi. Hey, guys.
10:55
So we're here with Cyril and Maria from area archery and they're
10:58
gonna teach us how to,
11:00
well, do this archery because I'm,
11:03
I'm, yeah, I,
11:04
I need to learn.
11:04
I've never done it before.
11:05
So let's Yeah. Archery.
11:18
It's not shooting. It's more like dance.
11:21
It's not about your aiming.
11:23
It's about how you can balance and control your body.
11:29
Oh, yes. So there you have it.
11:42
Thank you guys so much.
11:43
That's so hard. It was hard.
11:45
Now, we know what the Mexican Yeah.
11:49
Shout out to the Mexican team that won bronze at the Olympics
11:53
and we know it's not easy.
11:55
It may look effortless because they make it look,
11:58
but it really isn't a lot of practice and a lot of
12:00
mind power. So we want to get ready to the zombie
12:03
apocalypse area, archery.
12:05
You can follow us on Instagram area archery or go to our
12:08
website area archery.com and let's shoot some arrows.
12:15
Joining us today is Camila Ramon A K our favorite fitness instructor
12:23
Hi guys. Thanks for having me.
12:25
I'm so excited to be here.
12:26
We're happy to have you.
12:27
Ok. So we love your teaching in Spanish versus teaching in
12:32
English videos. But I have to ask like which language wins
12:38
It, it's so tough because I know those videos show
12:42
something very specific and I know that my most hyped moments are
12:45
probably in Spanglish, but both my English classes and my Spanish
12:51
classes are equally as high.
12:53
You guys, I know it doesn't look that way,
12:56
but there are different ways that I express myself in Spanish that
12:59
are just, you can't translate that to English.
13:01
Like sometimes I have like mantras of the day where I'll say
13:04
them in like Spanish and then I'm like,
13:06
well in English it means stay up,
13:09
right? Like you can't,
13:12
there's no way to translate it.
13:13
I wouldn't say any is better.
13:16
They're just so different in their beautiful,
13:18
amazing ways and what classes are the better ones and which crowd
13:23
brings the most energy,
13:24
the crowd that brings the most energy.
13:26
I have to say the Latinos for sure.
13:29
Hands down when we have Spanish member weekends where I'm teaching in
13:33
Espanol and everybody's vibing out.
13:35
And then we get this Bachata Merengue Cumbia track and everybody pops
13:39
off. You can hear them from the hallway,
13:42
you can hear them from the streets.
13:43
They're like, Camila,
13:44
your people have arrived there and I'm like,
13:47
literally, no, no people,
13:49
people will come in and be like your people are here and
13:51
it's wild and I love it and then they'll close the door
13:53
immediately and I'm like,
13:54
OK. Yeah, I'll go off mafia.
13:56
But there are people that are also extremely hyped that I want
14:00
to send love to because I know there's somebody that's going to
14:03
be watching this at home and be like,
14:04
Camila show up with energy all the time for all of your
14:08
time. And I just want to say that I see you
14:10
and I respect you.
14:11
Senora. Do Senora attend your classes too.
14:14
100%. The Senora are the most hyped ones,
14:18
especially when I'm like,
14:19
don't tell me. So the Senora are the first ones that
14:21
are like, I love it.
14:25
They embrace it as a fitness instructor.
14:27
How do you create body positivity and help people feel confident in
14:31
all areas of the gym?
14:32
I know with me like I get intimidated by like bodybuilding and
14:36
like weightlifting that I like,
14:38
OK, I'm gonna go on the Stairmaster or just,
14:42
you know, do the elliptical like I stay with those machines
14:45
But like, how do you,
14:46
you know, build that positivity and going around for me.
14:49
A lot of the confidence building comes from me just showing up
14:52
as I am. I'm a very silly human being and the
14:55
way that I show up in these classes is very,
14:57
in a very silly way.
14:58
And I think that really opens the door for people to have
15:00
fun. And then in addition to that just having conversations about
15:04
the beauty of being strong forte to be for,
15:09
for the rest of your life because it's something that we're doing
15:11
forever right. I'm always lifting weights and I always communicate that
15:15
extremely, in an extremely important fashion because I do believe that
15:19
strength training is like something that we all should be doing.
15:23
And historically, as a Latina and having conversations with other Latinas
15:28
I have noticed that they are very intimidated to step into
15:31
the weight section of gym,
15:32
particularly because it's dominated by Latino men.
15:36
And in Latino America,
15:37
it's even less welcoming than it is in the United States.
15:41
So we're out here trying to break barriers.
15:43
We're out here trying to empower people to show up in these
15:46
spaces where they feel like they don't belong because everybody belongs,
15:50
lifting weights, everybody belongs,
15:51
moving and celebrating what their bodies can do.
15:55
And Camila, you teach a lot of fun classes like,
15:57
you know, you work with artists like Fade and T Pain
16:00
Do you have a favorite memory of these?
16:02
Like, you know,
16:03
classes that you've done with any celebrities or just overall the themes
16:06
or anything like that?
16:08
Besides the entire classes as a 305 raise girl.
16:15
T Pain Ride was one of the highlights of my life.
16:20
T Pain. If you are in the building,
16:22
come on, we need to see you on stage,
16:24
baby. We need to see you go to studio.
16:34
I'm a hype girl.
16:35
I love hyping people up in the fade class.
16:38
We did like a Freon Nitro moment where I did an outfit
16:41
change. We had smoke.
16:42
Come out in the studio,
16:44
the lights changed. They were all green and glow in the
16:47
dark and I put on his neon green vest and these glasses
16:51
but I was riding a bike and the glasses were bouncing
16:54
up and down in my face and I was like,
16:55
I look so Ridic right now,
16:57
but I don't care.
16:58
I was like, I'm going in right now doing everything that
17:02
I can for this class to be as hype as possible for
17:06
fo. That's really,
17:07
really cool. And what's the best music to work out to
17:10
Like, what do you think?
17:11
Do you have a favorite song?
17:13
Well, I've been,
17:14
ever since I read that like reggaeton music stimulates the brain more
17:18
than any other genre music.
17:20
I've just been spreading that information,
17:23
just spreading that information to everyone.
17:25
I know my first ever class Merengue Ride that I taught was
17:29
at Peloton and that's my favorite class to teach.
17:33
You're just out the seat the whole time.
17:35
They're so tough dude.
17:37
I know. How do you stay in your seat with the
17:39
vibes like that? You know,
17:40
you can't blame me.
17:43
Blame Benito, blame Santa Rosa.
17:47
Blame the class has to keep going and we're over.
17:54
But, and more on that,
17:57
like, how have you made space for Latinos in a predominantly
18:00
white space? I think that I was extremely lucky to have
18:05
been chosen by Peloton to really lead this effort and grow
18:10
this space. There's no other fitness platform doing what Peloton is
18:15
doing for the Latin community.
18:18
And for me, I think the most important thing is,
18:20
is this program as much as possible right now.
18:23
So focusing on building the space and growing the community and building
18:29
awareness since I started,
18:31
I've gotten so many messages of fellow trainers in the space that
18:35
have mentioned to me that they have now like embrace their culture
18:41
and who they are a little bit more and are starting to
18:42
teach more reggaeton forward classes like Latin music forward classes.
18:46
And that makes me so happy.
18:47
And so the only thing that I can do is continue to
18:51
work as hard as possible.
18:52
Like a true the,
18:54
the true immigrant that I am put my best foot forward and
18:58
and create spaces and cities for others to come.
19:01
Thank you so much Camila.
19:02
We appreciate having you on and going over,
19:05
you know what you do and when people find you and follow
19:09
you. Yeah. So I'm Camila Ramon with three Ns and
19:13
then you can actually come hang out with me and EOL on
19:16
the Paon App. I teach cycling,
19:20
I teach running, I teach walking,
19:21
I teach hiking and I teach now dance cardio so we can
19:25
shake those Nagas together.
19:27
